Question 1

What does my client see in the portal?

Accepted Answer

Visits and their sources, call clicks and peak hours, submitted forms, and sales collected through Stripe Connect. You send your client a link they can share.

Question 2

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel in one click from Settings → Billing (the Stripe customer portal). There's no commitment: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.

Question 3

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

No free trial, but every plan comes with a {days}-day money-back guarantee. If Vortex isn't right for you, email us within {days} days of your first payment and we'll refund you in full.

Question 4

What data does Vortex collect?

Accepted Answer

Lead search uses public professional company data: business name, address, business phone, SIREN and opening hours. Collection of natural persons' names is disabled by default.

Question 5

Do I need to provide my own Google Maps key?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You create a key in Google Cloud and add it in Settings. There is no Vortex markup or intermediary on Google's API costs; setup usually takes about 10 minutes.

Question 6

Can I put my own logo and colour on the client portal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Agency plan. You can add your logo and an accent colour, and hide the Powered by Vortex mention. It is optional: until you switch it on, your clients see the standard Vortex portal. The colour must stay readable on the portal's dark background, and logos are PNG, JPG or SVG files up to 256 KB.

Question 7

What are the monthly client reports?

Accepted Answer

On Pro and Agency, Vortex can email each client a monthly summary of their site's analytics, in your agency's name. It is optional and off by default: nothing is sent to a client unless you switch it on for that client, choose the recipients and confirm they agreed. You can preview it, send a test to yourself, stop everything with one button, and every report carries a link to stop receiving it.

Question 8

Is there an API, and can Vortex call my tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Agency plan. You get API keys to read your prospects, clients, client analytics and payments (read-only: the API cannot change anything), and signed webhooks for new prospects, pipeline changes and client payments. Failed webhook calls are retried, and you can switch off or revoke anything at any time.

Question 9

Can I connect Claude or another AI assistant to my Vortex data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Pro and Agency. The AI connector (MCP) lets an assistant such as Claude read your pipeline, your clients and their analytics, so you can ask questions like which prospects have not been followed up in 7 days. It is read-only: the assistant cannot create, change or delete anything, and it never receives business names or other Google Places content. Your data is sent to the AI assistant you choose, under that provider's terms. You create and revoke the connector keys yourself, and every call is listed in a journal without its content.

Question 10

How are annual subscriptions billed?

Accepted Answer

Annual subscriptions are billed once for 12 months. The {days}-day money-back guarantee applies from the first payment.

Question 11

Can I use my own contract templates?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Pro and Agency plans. You write your own contract text with variables such as the client name, the amount and the dates, and reuse it for each client. Every change creates a new version, and a contract keeps its own copy of the text it was made with. Vortex does not provide legal wording or legal advice: the text of your templates is your responsibility.

Question 12

How does the Stripe Connect commission work?

Accepted Answer

It is separate from the subscription. For client payments collected through Vortex, the platform fee is 4% on Starter, 2% on Pro, and 1% on Agency. For a €5,000 payment, that is €200, €100, or €50 respectively. Stripe's processing fees are separate.
